1994 1995 1996 B-Body Console Savers
If you are about to install a console in your Caprice or perhaps preparing to re-install the console in your Impala SS, you are going to want to keep in reading. The consoles in our cars have a tendancy to break around the mounting holes when the mounting hardware is removed and reinstalled. Our console savers will serve 2 functions. The first of which is to save your currently undamaged console from ever getting damaged. Second, if your console is already damaged, this will give you the ability to mount your console without it moving all over the place. Our metal plates are cut out of 1/8" metal and then powdercoated with a texture black to intentionally blend in.
These will work with any B-Body car that has a 94-96 Impala SS Console mounting in the stock location.

We tend to lean on ,and against console more than we realize. At least I do. Console savers (at least in back) help a lot. I used GM body bolts with tapered ends ,and large captured washer. Results? Super solid...
